Patroclus couldn't be angry at the man before him, it was his life and he had to live it the way which was best for himself, his wife and his child, "It will be hard to not see you return, and Mrs. Lawson too, but deep down I am happy for you, for your complete little family! I wish you nothing but the best, you have been a great teacher, and you have help a young boy, who found settling down after a life on the move really hard, so for that I thank you!" Patroclus could feel his cheeks warming, so he took a swig of his juice to hide his blushing.
"Lafay? She's not that bad, in a lighting kids on fire, melt the skin from your bones with one stare kinda way!" Patroclus joked.
Marcus' eyes widened at the look on the boy's face.
He wanted to eat the peas after they had been on the table with how many hands being on the table? Ewww! He had seen what some of these kids get up to and yeah...ewww!
Oh he was kidding.
Thank Merlin for that! Marcus too burst out laughing and almost slapped the boy on the back again but caught himself just in time. He might cause the kid to choke on something.
Aww, if the students kept this up, Marcus was gonna end up crying and he could not be seen doing that! It wasn't manly after all.
"Thank you Patroclus, that means a lot to me. And thank you for being an awesome student and Professor." He was referring to their last class together. "I am going to miss you. All of you. Very much."
Marcus snorted at Patroclus' comment about Hecate. She really had them fooled, he knew that she was actually a very nice woman. And rather attractive too.
Picking up a bread roll, Marcus began to pick at it frowning in concentration before he looked up at the young lad. "Can you do me a favour and look out for Destiny, Evelyn and Marie for me? You know make sure that they don't get into too much trouble." It was a lot to ask he knew but if he wasn't going to be here then he would like to know that someone was looking out for his she-snakes.
