AHAHAHAHHAHA Julia!!

Vianna looked rather uneasy as she and Ferris stepped into the living room, her crystal blue eyes scanning the scene quietly, trying to make some sense out of it all. Her short and round father, who was usually so cheery and whose bright smile she had inherited, was pacing around the room waving his arms all around in such a typical-Sicilian-man manner, clearly very frustrated as the aggravated Italian tongue echoed through the room. Mrs. Vincenzi was sitting on an armchair nearby, looking like she'd just learned that she had a life-threatening illness or something, shaking her head slightly to herself as disappointed caramel-coloured eyes stared at the other group across from her. And there, on the couch, was her older brother Vince looking more like a scolded little boy than a 24-year-old man, sinking further and further into the cushions of the couch as his father continued. And beside him was a character Vianna had never really seen before, and on her lap sat little Jackie, who had actually turned out to be quite an adorable-looking child. She had inherited her father's crystal blue eyes and she had light brown hair (which Vianna had no idea where it had come from, but assumed it must've been the mother's) that curled just very slightly at the tips. Her skin was just very slightly tanned from the Italian sun and her cheeks were a lovely shade of pink as she watched her grandfather pace around with all the amusement in the world, letting out a few giggles every now and then, as if she was completely enjoying this scolding her father was receiving. She bounced around on the blonde woman's lap, looking like a little porcelain doll in her white dress and sparkling-clean matching little white shoes, a few decorative clips in her hair.
But what Vianna couldn't figure out was who in the world the blonde woman was and why she was holding Vince's kid - what, did he divorce the mother and find himself a new girlfriend already? Was that why her parents were so upset? That probably wasn't the nicest thing to do, but it didn't seem like enough motive to get Mr. Vincenzi breathing fire like this!
And it was then that Ferris spoke - '
Julia?!'
Vianna's eyes widened further, large as saucers on her lightly tanned face. Wait-- what?! This blonde woman with a thin little nose and short black dress is
Julia?! Her jaw nearly dropped to the floor then. What in the world was Julia doing here?! And oh my goodness, had she changed… but… What in the world was she doing in the Vincenzis' home?! And why was she carrying Jackie, and sitting beside Vince, and--
Vianna's eyes widened further, if it was even still possible at this point. Was
Julia her brother's wife? Jackie's mother? And then, to confirm that this really was the same Julia Vianna had met so many years ago in Crossfield, and the same Julia that had attended hers and Ferris's wedding, the blonde woman spoke, greeting Ferris and Vianna casually.
Mr. Vincenzi stopped pacing then, coming to an abrupt halt as his blue eyes fell upon the newcomers. Mrs. Vincenzi turned her attention to them then, and only half a second later she was on her feet, hurrying over to them. "Vianna! Ferris!" she greeted them both with a warm, welcoming hug and the brightest of smiles, as if she hadn't seen them in ages. Which was kind of true; last time she'd seen the couple (in person, at least) it had been a few months ago. "I'd nearly forgotten you were coming!" added the woman, completely pushing aside whatever it was that had her looking so horrified earlier.
Mr. Vincenzi cleared his throat and quickly composed himself then, planting a bright, welcoming smile on his face, as if he hadn't just been going around breathing fire just a moment ago. "Ah, you're finally here! Please, please, take a seat!" he said, gesturing to one of the empty couches. "I'm sorry, we got a little distracted and forgot you were coming!"
Vianna looked even more puzzled now. What in the world was going on here?! She gave her parents a weak smile, though her features were all very clearly and completely puzzled, confused, and her gaze fell upon her brother then who gave her a small smile as he sat up on the couch, looking completely out of his comfort zone. But how comfortable could you be with your father yelling like that? Still holding tightly to Ferris's hand, Vianna made her way over to the couch her father had gestured to them and took a seat, only to be joined a second later by Costa who was now offering them both glasses filled with pumpkin juice.
