(ooc: note all heroes are still on the yacht they’re not in Fincayra yet)

Dawn steered the yacht out of the lagoon and began making his way into the ocean though not too far from mainland. It was a clear and sunny day a perfect day for yachting he hoped the weather would hold up knowing that his and his sister’s friends were looking forward to a good vacation. It had not started out so well considering they had lost their way getting there at first before finding out their lodging accommodations were far from comfortable for the one night they had been staying in town. He knew everyone very much like himself, were rather pleased to be away from the busy lifestyles they led and spending some time relaxing out in the open ocean for some time. He was about to kill the engine and go back up on deck and join the party when he saw the gathering clouds in the distance drawing nearer. There was no way they could make it back into mainland in time; they would have to brace the oncoming storm although he could have sworn the forecast had said nothing about it. Turning on the intercom he spoke to the six guests on deck. “Hey guys I really hate to kill the party but we have a storm approaching fast and I’m going to have to ask you to get bellow deck and to your rooms. Stay away from the living room area and the kitchen I don’t want anything falling on you guys. I’ll be down there once the worst part of the storm is over.” He could hear the groans through the door but there wasn’t much he could do as he heard them scampering to gather their things and head down below deck where not only would it be dryer but at least each would be safe in the room they were sharing with the other two people on board. The only one who had his own room on board was him but that was only because each room could fit only three occupants despite their vastness.

Tatiana sat on a lounge chair in the top most deck tanning preferring for the time being to stay clear of the pool and hot tub that some of the guests were lounging in. If Dawn, who was like a brother to her, hadn’t insisted she come along she probably would have stayed home reading the pamphlets she had brought back from the ministry. Coco Chanel glasses covering her eyes she sighed as she dropped on the pamphlets she had been reading and yawned some. It was only morning but she had had a long night at the bar the other night. Her berry red lips stretched into a small smile as she moved to get up to head on over to go make a cup of coffee only turned into a frown and a groan at Dawns announcement. Not really looking forward to being shoved back below deck she gathered her things grumbling before looking up at the horizon to see the dark brooding clouds approaching confirming Dawn’s very unexpected weather forecast. Sighing to herself she made her way down on deck before working her way down bellow and back to the girl’s room and dumped her stuff on her bed before sitting down and sighing. Since she couldn’t go to the kitchen might as well take a nap there was no point in sitting there and waiting for the storm to pass by. Getting up she began to clear her bed so she could lay on it as the other made their way down.

Ionn smiled once he was sure he was far away enough from the Bard’s village. He could now run and transform and cut his trip in half. Instead of taking two nights it would only take him one night to reach the shore of the speaking shells. Though he would have to set camp in Durma Woods before doing so. Making sure his travel sack was on securely he began to run. His long mane of hair was whipped back by the wind as his feet pounded the solid earth and he grew faster. His smile and twinkling eyes grew larger as his face lengthened and his bode arched forward his clothes began melting into his skin his neck grew longer as did his arms as they touched the ground and where there were once hands were the hooves of a proud stag. Ionn’s light brown coat shone in the dawns first rays as he gave wind to his hooves and waved his antler adorned head and ran like the wind. He could feel the life of the earth with his senses. He could hear the whispers of the soil beneath his hooves as he ran and the ants worked and toiled beneath him. He could feel the cool wind on his face as it filled him with the early morning strength and finally he could see and hear the world in a way no human can as he took in all the wonders of nature running besides the River Unceasing. It was that time of year again and he was off yet again to wait for the prophesized ones, the ones that would raise Fincayra out of its darkness and reunite the race of man and deer against the evil reign of Rhita Gwar. He could feel something very different this year as though change was in the air. His heart filled with hope and his soul free in flight he ran towards what he hoped was the answer to the prayers of the innocent ones of Fincayra.

Emrys returned from his morning rounds after checking in with his scouts. Sighing as he entered his home he moved to where he had a map of Fincayra open and waited for his niece to wake. It was indeed that time of year again and he would have to go into human territory in order to see if there was anything new. Perhaps he could win the help of the prophesized ones though he was not sure how he felt about working alongside outsiders. Torn between making a decision to meet them and see if he can trust them or to send an ambassador in his place he sat on chair made of ivory like material and sighed as he leaned his head against the inside of the tree that was home to his home his crown of raven hair spreading against its warm tan interior as his sharp blue eyes gazed into the distance. Though he was king of his people he led a very humble lifestyle living in the largest tree in the area but a very simply furnished one none the less. The tree resembled the homes of a much ancient race that had once lived in Fincayra one that had the pointed ears of Fincayran humans but the grace and the power as well as the love for nature as that of the deer people.
