He didn't even know that her mother had died and he felt horrible. He didn't know what he would do if his mom or his dad dies. That would just kill him slowly and painfully. "I'm sorry," he whispered as his eyes filled with tears. No matter how old he got he would still cry at the drop of a hat. Its just what he did. He couldn't help it. "Do you want to talk to my mum she's real good at girl stuff," he offered. His mom was great at a lot of things if you asked him.
Diggy sniffled and wiped his nose on the sleeve of his practice Quidditch robes. He hadn't know just how much he missed Delanie till she was standing in front of him and talking to him. He looked up at her. "There's nothing to forgive. I just missed you is all," he told her softly as he leaned over for another hug. He didn't have that many friends to begin with and missing one really hurt.
Delanie returned his smile.
"I'd love to meet her. Just let me know when and where and I'll be there."
Frown! Diggy was crying. Oh, nuuu. If he kept that up, she'd be crying, too. Dee hated seeing others cry. It made her too sad.
"Thanks. I'm fine. But please, don't cry or I'll cry too!" And then they would be a mess of cryers in the hall. They were too awesome for that! She smiled at his offer,
"You know, I might take you up on that." It'd be nice to talk to someone who could be a mother-figure to her, and she knew his mama was really nice.
He was wiping his nose on his Quidditch robes. No, that wouldn't do. She accio-ed some tissues and held them out for him to take. And then he hugging him. Awwww. She wrapped her arms around his smaller frame and returned his hug tightly. He really was like her little brother. At that moment, she realized how much she had missed him, too.
"Aww, Dig, I missed you too!" She smiled, blinking back tears. They were having a moment. And what a special moment it was.
