Once he was finished talking about her, she replied, "It's always great when the girl is shorter than the boy. She sounds amazing, Diggy. If you're happy, I'm thrilled."

Then he was asking why she hadn't seen him. Apparently, he hadn't heard the word that she had left school for a while. "Well, right before Term started, my daddy convinced me to stay home for a little while. I'm all he has really, since my mama passed, so he gets extremely lonely. I agreed to stay, and I took a few months off from school so I could be closer to him and home. As soon as I got back home to Italy, I went straight to work modeling, doing campaign ads, photo shoots and a little runway walking. I was super busy. But once I was able to wrap up my work, I came back." She looked over at him to see he appeared a little hurt. "I'm sorry if you thought I was avoiding you or something. I just wasn't here. Forgive me?"
