Chapter 9
I turned around and slammed right into someone. That someone had silver-ish blond hair, grey eyes, and the palest completion I have ever seen. “Hello?” I managed to stutter out. He however seemed to be so calm that he helped me up and put his hand on my back insisting we sit down to talk.
“Listen I should probably go,” I jumped right up once we sat down.
“Why?” he asked. “Oh you’re uncomfortable because you don’t know my name. My name is Draco Malfoy, and I’ll be returning back to Hogwarts soon to finish up my 7th year. We all got interrupted, but I’m sure you know about that,” he flashed a blindingly bright smile and I was thankful I hadn’t eaten because I probably would have puked on him. I wish I had.
“No,” I said. “I didn’t know about any of this. Percy and I were just forcibly brought here without warning,” his smile faded.
“So you’re a mudblood?” Draco asked. His stood up and flung his chair behind him. “I shouldn’t waste time with such filth!” I reached down to my belt and held my knife with a death grip.
“Malfoy!” the crowd shouted. Mudblood must be quiet an insult.
“What did you just call her?” Percy yelled.
The crowd was now completely silent. “Malfoy you ferret, these people aren’t even wizards,” Harry Potter called from across the pub. “They were brought here TO find out what they are. Also,” he added. “You might not want to insult someone holding a knife. Just saying,”
When Harry stopped talking a pulled out my knife and held it just high enough to catch some light. Percy did the same with riptide. “We know who and what we are. Its you people that are clueless, and insist on holding us against our will,” I pointed out.
“What are you then?” Draco asked with a smug little smirk on his face (I wish I could just punch it off).
“Demigods,” Percy and I chorused.
