Esme smiled a little as Frida helped her up. "Thank you," she said as regained her balance, watching the woman remove the grass stains from her dress, "I hope you can teach Malachi some manners, I think he's forgetting them in his old age." The final comment was said pointedly, intended to wound him. He was being a git, trying to look responsible infront of everyone else. She was actively ignoring Eben and therefore missed his amusement at her fall. She started to sashay towards the house. "Hello Mr Cavanaugh, please excuse me, I want to talk to Pandora." She smiled at the babies and then walked off to the castle.

Malachi's mouth dropped open a little at Frida's comment. "I'm always nice." 'Be nice,' he thought, 'It's like having a wife to tell me off!' That thought sobered him considerably and he stayed silent until he saw Ronan walking towards him. "Ronan, hello." Malachi didn't extend a hand since Ronan had his arms full of babies. "Eben is Sinead Wallace's boy, Pandora's old friend." Malachi explained when Ronan seemed surprised that Eben was there. "Didn't Curi tell you she invited him?" Malachi stepped forwards and put down the bags, tickling first Roisin and then Tristan on the cheeks. "Hello cheeky monkeys." He smiled at them. "Hello."

Roisin giggled when she was tickled, blinking in the sunlight. She reached out towards Malachi but he moved away before she could touch him.

Malachi looked back at Frida when he heard the dreamy quality of Frida's voice. He hadn't heard her sound that way before. "I'm great, thanks." He stepped towards her and dropped his voice low. "Are you going to come and say hello to Ronan and the babies?" He knew that this would be difficult for Frida, even if he had no idea why.
