So she followed Jimbo to a couple seats and sat down somewhere between across and next to him.

She stuck the piece in her mouth and took the longest time chewing that she could. Two words: cake. heaven.

"Meh, I haven't exactly been doing much, to be honest. Just the random small prank here or there. I've mostly been spending time trying to train Pebbles and finding the school's secret passageways." Not that he's had much luck with either of those things. Pebbles remained stubbornly untrainable and the pathways stayed hidden to Jimbo's searching eyes.

He stuffed some more food in his mouth and continued. "What about you? What have you been doing? Have you met anyone interesting?" He felt a little guilty not being around much for Leilani cosidering she was new this year. He should have been the one to show her around and such. He just hoped she'd managed well enough on her own. Hopefully she had met some nice and interesting people. Maybe even someone who shared thier love for pranks? Or was that just hoping a little bit too much?
