He was friends with someone who was related to someone famous. "You think he'd be okay with you coming?" he asked her. Was Harry Potter going to give him a background check? That would be cool too!
"So... umm... How are things going? I heard what happened after the match. I'm sorry about that. Did it have anything to do with me?" he asked. He hoped that wasn't the case. Kay cared about Rex. Even though Carter had no idea why she'd date someone like Rex he did care about her feelings... specially if they broke up because she was helping him.
"Well Maybe if you play I can watch." Kay said hoping he would be ok. She didn't like the fact he was so winded. He didn't like well yet and she didn't want him back in the Hospital.
Giggling when Cater didn't use Harry's name.
"Well, I don't see why he wouldn't. He know I want to be a healer. So I think he would say yes." She said hoping that he would. She was only 14 and never been anywhere by herself.
Oh, no he asked about Rex. She didn't want to talk about him.
"Umm...Things are ok. You know Classes, homework, and evil boyfriends. " She said softly hoping that he didn't hear the last part.
"Do you think you will be able to practice next week? Your match is coming up." Kay said know that she had side stepped the whole Rex thing.

The1HBIC Marie had left the library and was heading to the dungeons to drop off her bookbag before going to get some lunch, and hopefully find Carter when the staircase decided to move on her. Now here she was wandering the third floor corridor looking for another staircase that would get her to the dungeon.
Looking ahead she seen someone sitting near a statue. Not really paying attention to them she just kept walking hoping there would be another staircase somewhere close. As she got closer to the statue to recognized Kay sitting there with... Carter! WHY was Kay sitting with Carter? Of all the boys in the school Kay had to choose Carter to hang out with?
She walked over to where they were sitting. "Hey Carter, everything okay?" There had to be something wrong, why else would he be sitting here with that Huffie loser?
Looking up to see Marie walking toward them.
*oh crap* Kay thought as she got up from where they were sitting.
"Hi. I'm glad you came by." She said hoping that Marie wouldn't be mad.
"I saw Carter sitting here and he looked a little winded. I was going to help him to the Great Hall." She said watching Marie face to see what would happen next.
