She glared up at her father. "Look at the state of this! Grass stains! It's vintage you know!" The anger in her voice was not to be mistaken Malachi wobbled in a rather ungainly fashion under the weight of the bags he was holding onto, looking to see if Frida was okay, holding out an arm for her to grab should she need it.
Esme's waspish tones could not be missed and he looked down at her, his face not exactly a picture of fatherly concern. "I told you to put your slippers on just while we landed. It's a surprise to me that you don't spend more time on your backside, wearing heels like those." Esme started to mutter under her breath. Words like 'idiot' and 'home' as well as 'Cannes' and a few more choice phrases could jsuta bout be detected. She was officially on the verge of sulking now. "Just remember what you promised me. That's all I'm saying."
Malachi frowned at her.
"I didn't promise. I said I would consider it Esme, it's very different to promising." He looked at the tall young man with them and then at Frida.
"Are you okay?" He asked her quietly.
Esme glared up at the fourth member of the party, almost daring him to laugh at her. Deciding to pretend that he wasn't there at all she snapped.
"Fine, change your mind, I can do that you know."
Malachi cast her a warning glance. This could be a long, uncomfortable weekend if she didn't behave.
Frida heard a *thud* just as they all arrived on the lawn. For a moment Frida was preoccupied with grabbing Malachi's arm so that she wouldn't fall over too. She looked down to her left and spotted Esme on the ground.
"Come on." Frida said and helped the girl up onto her feet again.
"They aren't that bad." The woman's voice was soothingly calm.
"And the stains are hardly a problem...may I?" Frida took out her wand before kneeling down and getting rid of whatever green there was on Esme's clothing. She had to almost rub the tip of her wand on the fabric to get the stains out, but all in all it looked much better.
"Malachi, be nice." Frida said quietly as she adjusted the strap on the single bag she had slung over her right shoulder. She glanced down at the radio again, and picked it up off the ground. It was a rather strange thing. All busted up with the wires sticking out, and part of the covering missing.
'I'm taking this with me.' Frida thought cheerfully and looked around the area, her eyes spotted the castle and her jaw dropped.
"That's very-" She couldn't find the words for a moment,
"Very nice."
There was a moment where things started to sway around her, but they straightened out rather quickly. A warm feeling flowed through Frida's chest and down to her feet. It was rather comforting, and before she knew it, her eyes had an almost glazed look to them, and Frida had barely a care in the world.
'This must be what it's like to be so...' She stopped thinking to herself for a moment,
'Relaxed.' "I'm perfectly fine, yes." Frida replied in a dreamy voice.
"And you?"
