Jesse loved the faces on the store people when Al threw down his bag of gold. She wanted to stick her tongue out at them so bad, but refrained so she could look somewhat proper like Al did. Jesse really like the way when he spoke, they all listened and ran to his orders. It was they all knew him, like he was some sort of prince. Jesse really liked it and wanted to see if it would work for her too. "I think you're right, Al. Did you hear that?"she asked of the sales clerk. "Blue robes to match my hair." Jesse smiled as she scampered off after Jesse's order, thinking how much fun that was.
Jesse, still with dripping hair and numb toes, scooted over closer to Al, lifting his arm and sliding underneath it. "I'm cold." she said wrapping her hands in his robes and scooting even closer. |
