Hmm. She had a point there. Momentarily pausing in his swing-twisting, Tal looked over at Brooke, trying to imagine her with short, spikey hair like his. "Don't get spikey hair." he suggested, shaking head. "Your hair is pretty how it is." Yup. Tal was just FULL of compliments today.
"Real-" Aw dang. Reece had already seen the others, so he left before Brooke could tell him he looked like ice cream. Poor Brooke. Tal glanced over at her, giving her a sympathetic look. Oh well, she'd get another chance. Brooke nodded too. "Yup, very true. And I tell the truth. ALWAYS." So, maybe not always, but most of the time. And this time she was; Tallan was good looking, and Texas very pretty - so they both won. Blushing at the unxpected comment, Brookie pushed her fly away hair over her shoulder. "I'm not," she denied. And she wasn't, 'specially next to Texxy and the other girls. She began to spin on her swing again, in an attempt to avoid other compliments. She got sooo self-concious.
They must've looked stupid to onlookers, she couldn't help but think. Her and Tall, two seventeen year old kids spinning 'round on the swings. But she didn't care. "I wasn't going to," she laughed, tugging at the ends of her pony tail. Hmm, of course she wouldn't get it spiky, it would be weird. Reaaallly weird. "Uh, thanks Tall," Brooke added, blushing again and continuing to spin. Yeah, she didn't like compliments at all. Quote:

"I'm paying," he said, waving the muggle money away. James didn't know why, but even saying that to Leigh brought a blush to his cheeks, and he fought to keep it at bay until he had walked off to the counter. Quote:

She giggled again at the thought of Brookles with spiky hair and smiled to herself at that picture. How SILLY!!! hehe. MaaaAan, pictures in your head were hilarious at rimes. Especially when she could picture Tallan with PIGGYTAILS! mwaha.
"Tally you know NOTHING about women!" she stuck her tongue out at him and laughed. "It is awsome," she agreed, admiring Texas' hair. Texas was so pretty, and lucky too. She could always have nice clothes, and hairstyles, but Brooke just couldn't. She looked stupid most of the time, and any nice style like Texxy's just didn't suit her. Mehh. "I'm not Texxy, don't lie," Brooke pleaded. She was never one of the prettiest people Texas knew. Not with every other girl in Hogwarts around them.
Brooke was still spinning when Andre joined them, and couldn't really catch what he started to quizz Tallan about. But she laughed at what Texas said, and guessed it was some girl problem or other. Quote:
