Hmm, the food did look good, but she wasn't hungry. Having eaten before coming to the ball, since she just didn't know if anyone had put anything in the food that shouldn't be there, Evelyn smiled and shook her head at Patroclus's offering. "Nothing for me, thank you." she said, glancing at everything before looking up to the Gryffindor. "You should get something though before Josh here eats all of it."

Snickering, the Slytherin glanced at Josh, and in that moment, she just had to laugh properly. "You have something...there." she said, pointing to his face just by his lips where a piece of cake stuck. Well, actually, there were a few other pieces elsewhere too, but she figured he'd get a napkin and wipe his whole face. Right? Hmm...maybe. Maybe not. Just have to wait and see.

Glancing once more around to see everything, she took note of the dance floor, band, and the music playing. Not bad. Seemed like everything was a success.
