Milo turned, eyes bloodshot as he tried to fight back tears. "Just having a bit of bad luck you could say." he replied giving the girl a sad look. The ball seemed like a big waste of bloody time and now that he was single again, things were not looking any better.
"But hey, you look really great in that dress." the young man added with a soft smile.
Once she noticed Milo's eyes, Raven frowned slightly; she really wanted to know now what was going on and here was not the place. "I know the feeling.. come on, let's go outside and you can tell me what's going on." She offered him his hand, there was no ulterior motive here for a change; Raven just wanted to talk.
"Well thank you, I bought this strictly for the occasion." She said with a slight smile on her red lips, honestly she knew that she looked good but it was nice to hear it.
