Patroclus, quickly washed his hands under the tap, cleanliness is next to Godric-ness he like to think, and then first with the entrée, picked up a large chip covered in salsa and cheese and took a bite. CruncH cRUNCh. Even he was impressed, “Mmm Mmm Mmmmm, So good!” But then again Mexican Nachos were always good! "So will you try something now?” he was really nervous, and Evelyn’s concerns were only adding to his stress, he hoped she was impressed.
Hearing Churros mentioned elsewhere, he turned to see another Slytherin and Gryffindor pairing, it was Carter and Destiny. A little embarrassed he had not noticed them before, as he tried to show off to Evelyn, he tried to see what they were making, but Patroclus could not make it out.

Smirking, trying to seem like her normal self in situations like this about 'trust' and such, Evelyn just couldn't keep it up any longer and let out a small giggle. He blushed! Hehe. Woah. She really was a Huffie Puff this year. That needed to change!
Watching him walk over to the sink, Evelyn's ears picked up something that did not sound like it should be here in the room at the moment. Turning her head slightly to the right, as if looking at the rest of the room, however it was only so she was able to hear the noise better. And there was definitely noise. Quiet, soft noise, but still...it was there. And it shouldn't have been.
Scratching her hand, the Slytherin sneakily maneuvered her wand so she had the handle in her hand as Patroclus came back over from the sink. Evelyn did not like suspicious things, and this was suspicious. She didn't know if the Gryffindor was up to something, or there was something that shouldn't be in here, but she wanted to be prepared. With an innocent and amused expression, she watched Patroclus go for the nachos first, and she waited for any poisons to take affect. No. Nothing. Nothing but...food goodness.
Good, because she was starving. Hesitantly, she raised her non-wand arm to the nachos first, taking one of the chips that didn't have all that much on it before looking at the Gryffindor. Well here goes nothing. Taking a bite out of her, she leaned over the table in case any bits and pieces fell off and slowly chewed it. Well, it wasn't all that bad. It was...different, that was for sure.
"It's good." she nodded, finishing off the chip and glancing around to the other side of the room. Yea, she'd be keeping her eyes and ears open from now on. Taking another chip, not being able to resist since her stomach was protesting from the lack of food, she swore she heard something about...cards?
