"I know." Carter whispered sadly. "What are the chances they wouldn't notice if I grabbed it really quick?" he asked.

If she said they weren't good he'd leave them. Yes, he'd sacrifice his chips for her. Why? Because she was Marie's friend and he wasn't going to do anything to upset her friends.

And he was also kind of comfortable on the floor eating sneezes with Destiny. And getting up would just ruin that.

"So what do you think they're doing?" he whispered to her. Hopefully they wouldn't be caught anytime soon. He'd have to think of an excuse.

Hmmm...

He could be teaching her the muggle way to tell secrets. Yes! That'll work.

Hopefully that would not be a question on the next muggle studies exam... because if it was he'd single-handedly cause part of the class to miss that question.

But Professor Lawson would probably get a laugh out of it. And if not, Carter sure would.
