Iris walked up from the Slytherin Common Room on her own, brushing down her dress nervously as she looked around the entrance hall. Everyone in the Decorations Committee did an awesome job. She was really proud of how the outdoor area looked.
She waited for someone. Anyone. She didn't care who, just one of her friends. Aaron, Jimbo, Fallon, Wesley. It didn't matter. Iris just wasn't going into the Great Hall on her own.
Fallon walked away from the receiving line. She couldn't see Torin anywhere. She then spotted Iris who seemed to be looking for someone. She walked through the crowd, watching her dress yet again. It was so big she was afraid of knocking someone over.
Finally, she reached Iris and smiled at her.
"You look gorgeous Iris." She tried to give her friend a hug, but her dress was kind of in the way.
"I should've gotten a less poofy dress." She giggled at her own comment.
