Quazi smiled as lead the way down the corridor. It was rather dark and narrow at times, but never did she feel that confided. Yet, she was rather a small thing and all.
After about eight minutes by Quazi's count, they reached the bottom. Standing just before the cart, Quazi looked up and smiled. "Oh, yes. It's a ways down, but nothing compared the the rest of the ride," she said with a nod. The journey down the corridor was really just the beginning.
"May I see your wand, please?"
Nothing compared to the rest of the ride, hmm? [/I]Lexi wondered if that meant she had a few minutes or a few hours before reaching her vault. Surely number three hundred wasn't
that far down, though. She estimated maybe a half hour at the most.
She started to make a comment on the length of time it'd actually take, but then the goblin asked for her wand.
Her wand? She realized it was just a security procedure, but really---did she
look like someone that was up to no good? With a small sigh, she made a grab for her wand then passed it over to Quazi.
"You are going to be able to save us if...something happens, right?" she asked, staring in the direction she thought they might go. Without waiting for an answer, she stepped into the cart and, for what felt like the millionth time, wished she'd brought Allie along. Or Ty at the very least.
"Sorry, Quazi," she said, once she was situated in the cart.
"I'm just not used to being without my wand. I trust you." Despite the fact that she still felt like a thrill ride-type deal was ahead of her, she managed to smile at the goblin. After that, she didn't say anything else as she waited for the ride to begin.
