As Constantine distributed the Hufflepuff invitations, Lexi passed a few Ravenclaw invitations to nearby committee members.
"As soon as the Ravenclaws are invited, our work here in the Owlery will be done," she said, talking to the group as a whole rather than one specific person. "
Go ahead and send those out, please, and then we'll make the rounds and post invites around the castle."
When there weren't anymore addressed invitations in her hand, Lexi pulled another slightly smaller stack of invitations out her handbag. These invitations weren't in envelopes, as they were meant to just be hung around the castle. She laid them out in four different groups---one stack for the
Gryffindors, a second stack for the
Hufflepuffs, a third stack for the
Ravenclaws, and finally, a stack for the
Slytherins.
"As soon as you're done sending out the invitations that need to be mailed, you can grab a few invitations from each of these stack and start hanging them around the school. Just make sure you don't hang one in a place someone else has already hung on in. We need them spread out as much as possible," she advised.
"...and on that note, the Invitations Committee has done its work. All of you have done such an amazing job...thank you." She grabbed a few invitations from a nearby stack then added,
"I think I'll go work on hanging a few, too. Thanks, team!" With her handbag in one hand and the invitations in the other, Lexi turned and headed out the Owlery.
