Danny finally found them. He had heard their voices all the way on the fifth floor. After a few minutes of contemplating whether or not to come find them, he decided it was for the best. He had heard them screaming at each other before, and it frightened him. Lately, he had been avoiding his cousin and one of his good friends and he was truly saddened about it. He craved their presence, but not when everybody was being so negative with each other. He was beginning to grow homesick. Actually he missed how it used to be, when Legend and Katie only fought occasionally. Now it seemed like they hated each other.
Turning a corner, he spotted William first. His back was to him, and in front of him was a red faced Katie and Legend with a different kind of look on his face. He kind of looked...sad. Knowing that he would be able to calm Katie down, better than Legend, he quietly walked over to her and slipped his hand into hers. Hoping William would be able to calm Legend down, Danny tugged on Katie's hand to follow him. |
