Brooke liked Tal. He got her. He knew what she was on about, and knew when she was joking. Which was always good, always very good. Hehe. "Good. Now at least I know you haven't lost your mind completely," she giggle. Because some of it had to be missing, right? He wasn't completely normal - that would be boring.

"Pleasure," Brooke almost sang, winking up at the boy. This was too funny. Tallan was good-looking, very good-looking, and Brooke could tell Texas knew that. She was just to stubborn to admit it. "Noooo!"
she said quickly, backing away as Tal tilted his head towards her. There was no way she was touching those spikes. It was like a bloody hedgehog! Only nice, of course. Very much nicer.

Sitting down as she reached the swings, Brooke began to twist. 'Round and 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round and 'ro- yeah. Like that. And then she stopped, lifted her feet off the floor and spun back to her starting position quickly. "See, tis funny!" she laughed rather giddily.

How did James know Leigh loved ice cream that much? They were best friends, that was how, and he thought that suggesting something she loved would stop her from being so weird with him. And it did have that effect. Smiling down at her, he squezzed Annie's hand. "You're coming, right?" he said softly to her.

He never had gotten over how Annie made him feel. Pulling himself out of thought, he looked up as Leigh asked Jack if he was coming. "Yeah, c'mon," he said to him, smiling and blinking his hair out of his eyes.
