"Professor I volunteer to be the notes taker." he said excitedly with his hand raised. Did they have to raise hands here? Chris would, he felt more comfortable that way. Yes.
"It'd be great if you could take some notes, Chris," Sage decided after more glances at Nolan. "If you could list what you and everyone else takes a strong fancy too." They didn't want to put out foods that made people vomit after all.

Honestly.

She beamed at Professor Dodson's suggestion. That sounded like a plan! "Maybe we could pass a list around, sir," she suggested. "Everyone could add the name of what they would like to see on the menu, on it. You and Professor Reynolds could go through it latter, to approve and disapprove whatever you want to." She conjured up a quill, and picked it out of the air, twirling the pokey-end cheerfully.
"We should be alright for time," the Herbology professor said, a little unsure with his answer however as he eyed his watch. Did anyone have a Time Turner available? Eh.

He gave his beard a scratch as he glanced at the yorkshire puddings some more. He hoped they were put on the list..

All people she didn't know, and she was the only one that didn't belong there.
Professor Dodson smiled at the music committee messenger. "You can let Professor Lawson know that we're going for a more buffet type set up, so it's more casual than fancy." Would that mean there wouldn't be fancy music?

Tucking the quill behind an ear, Gold looked up at Professors Reynolds and Dodson. Who, hopefully, had no problem with the fact that she had been busy scribbling away, and not helping out with the sampling. "Now I won't forget what I've tried out, or what was available here," she offered, holding out the list as a way of explanation. She wasn't trying to not pay attention, or be bad. Oh, and she had a question, now!

"Professors, are the Hogwarts house-elves going to make all this?"

Or was it going to be, say, especially brought in from somewhere? That wouldn't actually be hard, with magic. Thoughts like that made Gold really, really glad she was a witch.

Sage had caught a glimpse of Gold's list over her shoulder, and nodded in approval. Wow, that was quite some list. "Think you can add yorkshire puds to that..?" He asked with hushed tones. Ahem.

And she had a good question too. How come this one wasn't a Ravenclaw?

"The house-elves will indeed be helping," he nodded in reply, "they get awfully excited at the prospect of making all these different dishes that it would be cruel to deny them. I think they'd get offended if we hired a caterer."
