Chris had been nodding and listening to each of the students' and Professors' ideas on each food dish. He hadn't heard of some of them before and when all of a sudden the small group was surrounded by food dishes, Chris's mouth began to water.

He was reluctant at first but eventually tried each of the foods that the other students said were good. He had taken to standing back and allowing someone else to try it first and then he would do the same, it wasn't cowardice, just sampling to compare ideas.

*glares at dogfood* Chris was actually mortified that that...stuff was even on display. What if someone liked it and picked it for the Ball. He would keep a good eye on that platter and should anyone eat it...he would be giving them a wide range for the next few days. o.O

"Not hungry?" The Herbology professor asked his colleague with a mouthful of yorkshire puds and a nudge. He'd skipped breakfast and lunch 'specially for this. He might be on the smaller side, but Sage had a healthy appetite.

Mouth still full, an idea struck him, "think we should get one of the kids to take notes?" He'd already forgotten what dishes they said they all approved of.
After shivering one last time at the dog food thought, the Head Boy turned once again as Professor Sage began to talk, a note keeper? That sounded right up his alley, what with him lurking behind and tasting what others had tasted.

"Professor I volunteer to be the notes taker." he said excitedly with his hand raised. Did they have to raise hands here? Chris would, he felt more comfortable that way. Yes.
