 Fortress of Brilliance ღ Mommy Quad
After a long, draining conversation with one of her two Gryffindor cousins, Katie shuffled along the corridors alone, slowly working her way down from the Fifth floor back to the Hufflepuff Common Room, she supposed.
Nearing the Third floor, Katie lightly hopped off the last step of the staircase she had come from and started down the wide open corridor. Lost in thought, the young Hufflepuff remembered bits and parts of her and Jae's talk, not paying enough attention to notice something large and solid laying on the stone floor. "Oof!" the noise left Katie's mouth before she could even comprehend what had happened, a bewildered expression on her face as she blinked and looked behind her to see what she could have possibly tripped over.
Of course, it had to be HIM. Why couldn't it have just been a statue sprang to life and decided to sit in the middle of the corridor? That would have been better, even if the landing wouldn't have been as soft as landing halfway on Gryffindor. Groaning loudly, Katie pulled her legs in close and began to dust her skirt, not bothering to stand up. "What in merlin's name are you doing on the ground, Legend?" She asked exasperatedly, her dark eyes glancing up and over to him as she did.
