"I was wondering if I could intern, with you? I want to become a healer, and I interned with a French hospital, over the summer; but I'm always on the look-out for more experience."

She paused, then continued, "I know you're really busy, but would it be okay if I spend some time here, make observations and take notes; and, whenever you have some free time, I could discuss any questions or difficulties I have, with you? If that's okay, of course."
