Vashti only gave CJ a look as he acted all innocent, but said nothing of it as she had been timing Mina at the time. Now that that was done, she was prepared this time for when he recast the charm on Ivory. She started the timer again, and so began the wait to see how long it woould last. One, two minutes passed easily enough. Then three and it was still going strong.
Four minutes. This was the longest yet so far. Impressive.
Finally, the bubble popped and Vashti stopped the timer.
"Five minutes and nine seconds," she said and gave CJ an approving nod. "Nice."
Against her emotions Ivory had to admit she was impressed. This guy seemed to know his charms. Smiling at Mina's enthusiasm she nodded her head. She could hardly wait too. "Should we all cast the levitation charm on the crate and then fixate it closer to the surface?"
