Oooh tough question. My favorite book for the longest time was
Prisoner of Azkaban but then
Deathly Hallows came along and wrapped up the whole series and even though I've only read it once, it's probably my new favorite.

I have no idea where it comes from. My best guess is a) genetics, as it must be a rare inherited trait from my father's side of the family or b) constant practice and vigilance.
