But this was a broomcare lesson.

And he was pleased.

Wearing his workrobes, Jake entered, goggles in hand and gloves in his pocket. He wasn't sure why he needed goggles; they never wore them years ago and he felt like an idiot wearing them, which didn't help his confidence. Ah well.

Smiling at Vindictus as he entered, Jake gave the man a slight salute. "Hey sir! Llllong time no sssssee," he said, speech obviously improving but not quite there yet.
