Ash could read the what was going on in the room. He could almost taste the tension in the air that Willow gave off. He knew that Elena felt it too. He figued that he should not say anything at the moment. He needed to get his royal stature together before they entered the castle. When they had been in the train he could be himself, seeing as how everyone was practically equal. Well Elena wasn't an heir but that made not difference to Ash. She had grown with Willow and was excepted as practically the eighth heir, had there been one.
Finally it was time to go into the castle. He fell into step at Willow's left. He could just imagine what the three of them looked like to someone on the outside. They were fierce, they gave off the essence of authority. He followed behind Willow as they entered the hall, being on of the seven heirs. On his way to the table however some girl who he had met the year before stopped him. He didn't really remember her. She had just been something fun at the time but of course he did pause to say hello.
This delayed him a moment from taking his place at the table. As he walked over towards it though he saw that Marik and Dozer had already beaten him there. He could hear the conversation from where he was. Super vamp powers sure did come in handy. He heard Elena speak before Willow and then herself talk to Marik.
Finally making his way to the table he sat on the other side of Willow. He turned however to see the two boys that were standing before them. "Hello Marik, Dozer" He said nodding to each of them. "I do hope that no trouble is being stirred up" He said looking from them and towards Willow. "It is so early in the evening, it woud be a shame to ruin the night so soon. And I know for a fact that all of us would like to make sure that the ladies have a pleasing summer. Perhaps it is your best interest to wait until Lady Austin seaks you out instead of the other way around. If she chooses to do so" He said keeping his elegant stature the whole time. This was the Ash that he had been taught to give off. While it was nice to be himself he did like the power that he felt when he had on his Royal Image. |
