"The Trouble with Tribbles and Trials and Tribbleations... as well as two novels, one of which the breeding problem was... fixed."
She felt even a little more embarrassed as she knew the exact episodes that he was talking about. Oh dear, this man was going to make her pretty work mask come tumbling down if she wasn't careful. Wait.......did he just say fixed!? Two novels? She didn't have the one that had the tribbles 'fixed'. She had the immediate urge to ask him if he had it and perhaps if she could borrow it, but she knew that she couldn't ask him right there in the middle of the conference. He was inadvertently mean, unless he was just amused by it....the latter may have been more likely.
"'Fixed', really?" she said in the tiniest whisper that even Drago may not have been able to hear.

A young wizard or witch could make quite a profit in masquerading real magic as fantasy. Something like when real wizards go out in the muggle world, and take to the stage, pretending that magic is an illusion. 'Magicians', I believe they call them." Garbed in black from head to toe, his smile seemed to brighten up his clothing. Mister Dunwich was a rather quiet sort, but when he opend his mouth he had a tendency to ramble.
He was wearing tinted glasses indoors??? Rin found this man an enigma and was starting to think he was her employee.......
crap and he heard her tribble talk. Well you can't undo what is done and he seemed to be an amiable fellow about it. He engaged her in pleasant discourse instead of snickering under his breath ,so that was a good sign.
"I believe it is because the two worlds that we have divided this one into were once one. That some muggles yearn to know this world in its entirety and know in their hearts that it exists." She had her own opinions that tended to differ from others, which sometimes made her sound a little out there ,though she wasn't.
"Yes 'Magicians', though there are some decent ones that are truly muggles." Alright , the meeting needed to keep moving. She had wandered completely from the topic of little fluffy booger eaters like they were supposed to be on. Some of the employees seemed more interested in chatting with her than in the meeting. What could perhaps make this more interesting for them?

Jealous?
Why should I have any reason to be jealous?
Denial does not suit you, Mentor.
Shut up and let me have it. We're in public.
When did you ever have restraint in public?
I should not answer that, Little Kin.
She turned to look back at Drago as she noticed he fell silent again. He seemed to have withdrawn from the little conversation, and to be back at his own thoughts. She could tell that he was bothered or annoyed by something......but what? She didn't know everything that would bother him yet and she couldn't ask him what was wrong in front of the entire conference. She knew that she couldn't show that she had more than co-worker feelings for him. Why did she have to get involved with someone that she worked with again? Hopefully she could smooth it out after the meeting.
