Back to the twigs she went and Oliver looked away himself, focusing on his broom. CLIP! Off came an old bent twig. “Be quite good doing this as a job.” He said changing the subject because that was obviously what his friend wanted. “Servicing brooms I mean. Imagine doing this for the major Quidditch teams.” Woah.. that would actually be a really amazing job. “You got any idea what you want to do when you leave this place?” They had less than two years left – it was a painful thought indeed.

He nodded. He knew he could talk to Miranda. He gave her a small smile and nodded. “Some Gryffindor.” he muttered. “He thinks his girlfriend 'likes' me.” He balanced the broom between his legs so he could do inverted commas when he said 'likes' – Surely Miranda would know what he meant. Pffft.. and he didn't like her – not in that way. Stoopid Texan. The thought was proposterous.

He laughed about the squealing boy. “Good point.” he grinned. “Could have the beaters on both sides after his butt.” Snort. “Is that even a rule? Distracting the other team. I thought that would have been regarded as good tactics.” ...Especially if you were a shifty Slytherin. Hehe! He made a face and pondered Miranda's next question then nodded and sort of shrugged at the same time as if to say, yeah.. he was nervous but it was no biggie. “Suppose I am a bit.” He admitted as he snipped off another twig. “I've never done anything like this before.” Or never had such responsibility before. “What about you? Still get that rush of adrenaline when you think about it?” He smiled softly at his friend and fellow Captain.
She was grateful for the change of subject. Had they continued with it she might've...changed it herself. Rudely. Heh. Looking up from her twigs, she gave him a smile and a raised eyebrow. "Clipping twigs? Really?" Hm. It was fun for like a couple of hours, but... "Naaah, I bet you can do something more awesomer." She playfully nudged him in the ribs.

Oh, future stuff. Uhm...
"I think...I wan't to be an Auror." She was kinnda positive on that. But there was this Quidditch thing too. "Or, if that's not possible...Chaser for some team? Maybe?" Heh. But ... "How about you? Quidditch? Healer?" He COULD get over his 'silly' fear. Though she was kinnda joking. "Austronaut... How about a...... " Hmmmmmmmmmm... "STUNTMAN." Zomg.

He got hurt almost all the time, not counting when their experienced that stuff together. Snort. She grinned at him, feeling a bit more elated.

But the grin was turned into one more eyebrow raising. "Well...do you?" She looked at him, curious and confused. This whole 'liking' stuff was just not... it was odd. Miranda still didn't get it. Right? Right. "Why does he think you are in love with the girl?" Oh, did he go all Oliver on her? "You showed her your moonwalk, didn't you?" Bahaha! Miranda bit down on her lower lip to keep herself from laughing. Gosh!

Squealing boy! HEhe.
Good tactics? Maybe. "Yeah, but you never know. Better be safe than sorry." Right. "And if it's not for distraction the worry is about, then maybe it's for the sake of the squealer. It can get a bit annoying and maybe someone might want to imagine he's a bludger..." Heh.

Aw, he was nervous. He would be stupid if he wasn't. "Don't worry, you'll do great." She nodded, cleaning off the clippers with the towel. "Yeah, I'm excited." And nervous. She felt weird about the possibility to play against her best friend. Ah, the adrenaline. "Always." Nod nod. It was one of the reasons she still played. "Oh, you're going to love it, Oliver. Flying around, feeling proud of your team. Kicking some butt." She chuckled and looked at him. "You know how your roster's going to look?" Hard choices, for sure.
