"I saw that, Raiden Kururugi." Sneaky Slytherins.
"SO. Before we went to the kitchen and got a bit distracted," juuuuuuust a wee bit. Nothing major," we were discussing battles. Most of you raised your hands and told me about some battle you were familiar with. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand, many MANY of you told me of battles that happened right here." Lainey patted the rock underneath her. "Here at Hogwarts. Right where you sit on your little pillows."
Sure, most of this class was a joke, but really there was a point. Lainey wanted her students to think... and play. A problem for the non-multitaskers, but they'd catch up. "People have died here at this castle in battle, wars have been lost, and justice served. Go on. Take a look around you. Let that sink in."
Lainey hummed to herself while they all LOOKED.
OOC: Battle will begin soon. Waiting on weapons. FYI.
Keeley pushed back her helmet, as the thing practically covered her eyes, and thought on Miss Awesome Professor Lady's words. While others seemed to be sarcastically muttering, the Ravenclaw really pondered on the words. She knew how sudden a battle could come, and how much blood could be shed. There was a scar on her cheek for a reason, after all.
