Hiya Lauren! And okay, okay, I get the hint.
This one is for you, Katie! I hope you get better soon and rest up!

“WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?” Oliver yelled harshly, staring at Emily.

Emily and Cedric both jumped, scooting away from each other. Cedric grimaced at Oliver, and Emily blushed some more. Emily wasn’t the only one blushing though; Oliver’s face was turning a brilliant red.

“I, er, didn’t mean to yell like that—” Oliver said quietly.

Cedric stood up slowly. “Excuse me for a minute. It’s a bit hot in here, and I’m a bit parched, so I think I’ll have to go find that delightful Trolley cart woman.” And he left. Emily stared after him, wishing he’d come back. She slowly turned her attention back to Oliver.

“Do you, er, really want to?” Emily asked quietly. Emily glanced down. Her hands were extremely sweaty, and she kept fidgeting.

“Only, only if you want to,” Oliver replied, also looking down.

Emily glanced up. “Then, sure, I’d love to go on a date with you,” she said. “How’s Friday?”

Oliver sighed in satisfaction. “Awesome,” he said in a daze.

Emily and Oliver sat there quietly for a while, which was good for Emily because she needed to think about what she was doing. She thought about the three guys she had dated, and then realized she had only actually dated two. She dated Draco and Cody. She had never dated George; she had just spent all her time with him. He was her best friend, but they never got the chance to actually get around to dating. And none of those three guys were anything like Oliver. Draco was like the bad guy. He was sexy and seductive. He had a way with words and knew exactly how to pull her in every time. But he was also sweet and kind when he was with her. He cared about her. And then there was Cody. He was laid back and carefree. He was sweet and funny. He was not only a good listener, but also an amazing person; except for the fact that Draco said he was a player. Now that she thought about it, she hadn’t seen him at all since their goodbye. And last but definitely not least, George. Where to begin? He was cute, funny, sarcastic, smart, amazing, and drop dead sexy. He was her best friend. He was an amazing flyer and prankster. He was everything to her, from friend to soul mate. She was in love with—What am I doing? Cut it out, Emily James Remus Amelia Sirius Black! You can’t get yourself wrapped up in this again! Emily thought.

She looked across at Oliver, who was looking out of the train window, deep in thought. Oliver was cute and great at Quidditch, but, like Cedric, she hardly knew him. How is he going to be classified after this date? Emily thought. Emily jumped slightly as the compartment door slid open and Cedric walked in.

He grinned. “Didn’t mean to startle you,” he chuckled. She smiled slightly, taken aback. He sat down beside her again. Oliver stared at them with a cocky grin plastered on his face. “I take it you said yes?” Cedric asked Emily whilst he glanced at Oliver and then back at Emily. She nodded. He sighed and then smiled. “I, er, hope you two have fun at, er, Chucky Cheese,” he said, laughing.

“What’s Chucky Cheese?” Oliver asked as his eyebrows knitted in confusion.

“How do you know about Chucky Cheese?” Emily asked.

“My neighbors are muggles,” he explained to Emily. “Their son is six, so his birthday party was at Chucky Cheese this year.” Emily nodded.

“What is Chucky Cheese?” Oliver asked again. He was, once again, growing frustrated.

“It’s a muggle place. Er, people go there to have fun and play games and what not,” Emily explained. Cedric chuckled at her use of the word people when he knew she was going to say “kids”. Emily peeked at Cedric and smiled slightly.

“Oh,” Oliver said.

After that awkward conversation, Emily stayed quiet. She stared out of the window and pet Bluejeans affectionately. Oliver started reading his copy of The Quidditch Quencher and Cedric got out a muggle book called To Kill a Mockingbird and started to read. Every once in a while, Cedric would glance up at Emily and watch her. He admired her red, curly hair and fair skin. He watched as her fingertips gently caressed her owl’s feathers. He longed for her to turn around, catch him, and look up into his eyes and be smoldered. He wanted to see her full eyelashes whisk against her cheek bone, to see her eyes glisten like the sea, and to see her eyes crinkle when she smiled at him. Realizing he was staring for a bit too long with his mouth hanging open slightly, he turned his attention back to his book and picked up at his stopping place.

*Alrighty, It's just a short one. Tell me watchya think
