Watching the Professor demonstrate how to cut a carrot, or celery, Evelyn had to hold in a sigh. Her uncle taught her this over the summer, especially the way to hold the food so you wouldn't cut your fingers off. Which she had almost done countless of times, but she had definitely improved. "Don't jinx it Professor." she mumbled, pulling a carrot towards her and adjusting her fingers on the knife.
