Elena merely gave a small cringe at the idea that she would like a BLOOD pop better than he would, but she knew what he meant. It was like all the watermelon candy. It was good, but didn’t actually taste like the real thing… At.all. Though, that she actually would eat. Well… She was almost, almost tempted to try it, just to see and to say that she did.
Annnd Willow was going to pay. Darn her, she always got to it first and Merlin knows, there is no talking her out of it. Elena remembered trying for what felt like an hour back in their second year. Finally Willow had just walked up and placed the money down. How Elena loved her friend. “Well I call the next one,” she announced right off before standing up as the trolley came to their door and waiting for the two of them to finish getting what they wanted. “I’ll have two Chocolate Frogs, some licorice, and… a blood pop…” The last was said with a little uncertainty, but she smiled to the woman and thanked her as she was handed her sugary goodness.
“Thanks, Lovely,” Lena added to Willow as she plopped down on her seat again and bit off a piece of her licorice. She then looked down at the rest of her loot, trying to decide in what order to eat them. It was important now that there was an intruder candy. Trying that first would probably be best so that if she hated it (which she most likely would), she could cover up the taste with delicious chocolate.
