With a little
sniff, sniff, Lexi realized that most of the cupcakes were either already done or getting closed to it.
"If your cupcakes aren't completely baked, go ahead and do the last few steps now then return to your seats. Let's take a few minutes to clean up, then you'll be dismissed," she announced to the class.
With a little swish and flick of her wand, Lexi levitated a stack of paper trays around the room.
"Go ahead and take a paper tray to put your cupcakes on. ...and yes, this means you can have all your cupcakes, though I don't recommend eating them all at once. Maybe...have one of yours then trade with a friend?" she continued.
"There's also a new addition to the Charms classroom this year. It's called Molly Weasley's Charmed Kitchen, and you're free to use it when you'd like to just practice or when you're hungry for a treat!" she explained. The little kitchen had been one of the first things Lexi had set up when she was moving into the castle a few months ago. It was a cute little kitchen and one that Lexi just adored.
"I'll be in and out of the kitchen in between classes, so you're likely to see me there, too...you know, in case you have a question or need someone to test your products." ...and Lexi
did like to test baked products. Especially cupcakes.
"Don't forget to check the oven you used and make sure it's turned off!" she advised.
Again, Tate definitely wouldn't take too well to them burning down the castle.
"Once your work area is clean and you've gathered all your cupcakes, you're free to go. Check the bulletin board on the wall outside my office---your homework will be posted shortly after class." OOC: I'd like to take a little moment to thank everyone who attended my very first lesson. It meant a lot to me to have you all here! Points will be keyed in a few days, and the homework will up sometime tonight or tomorrow.
