"Nah. They're pink. And its the same shade of green." She said to him VERY briefly, her eyes not looking away from Professor Carlton. WHEE! Charming time. hehe. Iris liked charms.

Iris made a mental note of everything the professor said, and copied her as she did. Okay. So, bowl in front of me. "Wingardium Leviosa!" She muttered to herself, and carefully raised her bowl, then said "Fixate!"

Then she picked up the spoon and muttered the spell, "Locomotor Spoon!" Then, sticking her tongue out slighting in consentration, she began to turn her wand, and watched the spoon mimick it.

UNLIKE Jimbo, Iris reckoned she'd be able to catch it, so, one hand under the bowl, she muttered the spell that would cancel them all out. "Finite!" Oh yes. The bowl didn't even need to fall.

She looked at Jimbo and stuck her tongue out at him. He failed.

"Do I need a partner? Yes. I do. So I'll be YOUR partner. And We'll be awesome in our POLKA DOT green aprons. hehe."

Scooting down the work bench, she looked at the book that Jimbo was holding. "Eww. Those are plain, boring fairy buns." She said to him, refering to the basic cake recipy that was open on the page.

So she took the book off him, and flicked through it until she found the recipy that she wanted. "I reckon we should make some Butterfly Cakes. They're easy AND cute!" What's not to lose with them?

Iris looked at Jimbo and grinned, with a look that said they WERE going to make these cakes. Even if it was a butterfly. Looking round the class, Iris noticed that a lot of other people seemed to be very far ahead of them. Oops. That seemed... bad. They'd just have to work quicker to catch up.

Seeing as though Iris could bake, they'd be able to finish them quickly if Jimbo could bake too, and something told her that he could. Because he liked food.

Not bothering to let Jimbo argue, she got up and got the things they'd need, the ingredients and the utensils, and dropping them onto their work bench.
Oh, so now she was mocking him? Just because he didn't catch his bowl and she DID? Pfft. He glared at her for a moment before he laughed. "Yeah, we'll be the awesome Polka-dot Pastry Partners." Ha.

Oh. Well then. If Monty wanted to take charge, that was fine with him. They could split this. He could do the charms and she could do the cooking. Or each of them could do both like they're supposed to. After all they were BOTH supposed to LEARN the charms. It would be of no use if Monty didn't learn them. Especially since Jimbo could already do them.

Looking down at the recipe Jimbo double checked to make sure they had all the ingredients.

SPOILER!!: Ingredients

* 100g (4oz) caster sugar
* 100g (4oz) butter, softened
* 2 large eggs
* 100g (4oz) self-raising flour
* 2.5ml (1/2tsp) baking powder
* 15ml (1tbsp) milk
* 50g (2oz) butter, softened
* 75g (3oz) icing sugar
* 30ml (2tbsp) strawberry jam
* Icing sugar, for dusting

Once he made sure of that he looked at the first steps. "Here Monty," he said, handing her the bowl and wooden spoon. "Do the mixing. I'll put in the ingredients."

He grabbed the right amount of sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder and milk and poured it all into the bowl he gave Monty. "It says you have to mix it until it is 'pale and creamy'." He said, air quoting with his fingers. "Once you've done that, fill the muffin tray and put it in the oven for 20 minutes. I'll preheat it and get started on the..." he looked back at the book. "buttercream."

He got himself a second bowl and spoon, putting the right amount of butter in. He sifted the sugar like the recipe said to do then grabbed his wand. "Wingardium Leviosa!" The bowl rose and so did the spoon. "Fixate!" He was doing good so far. Although, he didn't really expect anything less when it came to charms. "Locomotor spoon!"

Turning his wand, he mixed until the buttercream got smooth the way the recipe needed. Now that he had that ready all he had to do was wait until Monty was done with the muffins and they could put on the buttercream. Hopefully it was good. Jimbo could use a good pastry.
