Theo didn't even hesitate once he'd scanned the list of Muggle jobs. One of his uncles was the head News Presenter at their local Television "station" as the muggles called it and he'd been there to watch him at work. He knew what he wanted write about.

(getting out his quill and paper he began scratching out.....)

"News Presenters are the people that explain to us what is happening in our worlds. We actually have them in both the Wizard and the Muggle world. In the Muggle world, they can tell us the latest news on the Muggle radio, Muggle newspapers, or Muggle television (think of a kind of wizard portrait that moves and talks to you)
In our world we get our news mostly the same way, except for the televisions. The Newsman (as they're called in the muggle world) usually starts out at their organization as the perosn who actually goes out and gathers the news information by talking with various people who are called contacts, or witnesses to something that's happened at this position they are called "beat reporters". They can spend hours talking on the Muggle telephone getting the facts correct about an upcoming story to make sure they're as accurate as possible. Sometimes they even get a chance to tell some of the facts they have discovered "over the air" as it's called by muggles, which means they get to be on TV (short for television) and talk to the News Anchor (the head news person who sits in the Muggle studio) As they get more and more experienced and if they have a good reading voice and look good enough, they can move up to the new reading/presenters position at a station some time. The job of the News Anchor is to write down the facts for all of the stories they are getting from the beat reporters in a way that is easy to read and easy to understand by all of the muggles (or Wizards) The News Anchors don't gather very much news once they get this job but will occasionally get to interview very important people. And if they stay in their position for some time alot of people get to see them and they get very popular and become almost like celebrities."
(Theo thought for a minute and then added)

"I think my uncle said that to get a position in the news business you had to go to a muggle college for several years and learn how to write well, ask good questions, learn to listen, and take good notes."

(Theo put his quill down and checked for errors)

"That should do it"
