"Listen, I don't want to tell who to be friends with and who not to be friends with... but, I do want to say be careful. He hurt Marie and I don't want to see you hurt too." he said. He hoped she wouldn't think that he was trying to tell her what to do or that he was suggesting he was disappointed in her choices. He just wanted her to be careful.
