Ash was still cringing over the thought of the Blood Pop. He hated those things. They were almost an insult. But then again Mia had found it very entertaining whenever he had eaten it so he was fine with the fact that he had pleased his sister. But then something brought him out of his own thoughts. It was the sound of laughter. "Oh what is so funny, eh?" He said to her jokingly with a grin. Willows laughter. He laugh was contagious and soon Ash found himself laughing right along with her.
Finally the food trolly came around. As Willow said that she had it covered Ash protested. "Now that is not necessary" he told her. He didn't like thought of him not paying for himself. But Ash also knew Willow and that she would not take no for an answer. She was going to get her way. Normally he was the same way, but when it came to Willow he wanted to please her, and that meant giving her what she wanted.
He walked to the trolly selecting a few things, Blood Pops not included. He watched as Willow paid for all of them. He too took a few coins out of his pocket to tip the lady. "Thank you very much" he said as he handed them to her with a charming smile. Then he turned and took his seat back in the compartment.
Ash followed Willows eyes out of the window. He couldn't help but think about how close to the school they were. Oh this wretched school. He had never really enjoyed coming to Hogwarts all that much. Then he let his mind wonder to the human boy who had a thing for Willow. Of course he was no threat at all. For he was human, and Willow immortal. She knew the Cardinal law as well as anyone else. There was nothing to worry about so he simply pushed the boy from his mind. |
