Ellie hopped aboard the train, carrying her baby ferret in his small cage. She felt very proud to be a third year and held her head high as she walked down the train. She smiled to the few students she recognized and found her way to an empty compartment. She set down her silver ferret, Lance, and curled up in her seat. It had been a very busy morning, and she was so tired. After a summer of hard farm work, Hogwarts would be a welcome change of pace.
