Thin hair tied back into a fluffy, magically-dried ponytail, already dressed in her school robes, Wesley levitated her heavy trunk onto the train (all by herself!). After solemnly crossing her heart, sealing her promise to brave the tall and scary Owlery and write, the 14-year-old gave a last wave to her family before turning to face her other family. Her school family.

She was early, she knew she was. But the train was already beginning to fill. And Wesley was happy to be back.

After briefly considering the idea of levitating her trunk all the way to her compartment, the Hufflepuff decided to pull it by hand. Much safer. Grunting with effort, the short (but still taller than last year!) girl managed to move it down the hallway before simply giving up.

Maybe she was out of shape. Maybe all the butterbeer she drank the night before hadn't been such a great idea. Or maybe her trunk, now loaded with a sleeping bag and some muggle exercise clothes along with the rest of her school things, simply weighed more. Whatever the case, Wesley was done. She was going to find the nearest compartment, and then she was going to rest.

Joining two other (younger?) girls at the door, the brunette joined in the chorus, giving her best smile, "Do you think you maybe have room for one more? Maybe? Please?"
