Her head tilted to the right. That was a fair point. Seven kids loose in a giant candy store and then you wanted to take them to the theater. That was a very bad idea. "Yeah I think after the show would be best. It can be a present to Willow I think." She knew Willow was going to be spectacular. The wee Greenwood was turing into a dynamo actress and ballerina. And Egypt was looking forward to going to Dylan's Candy Bar. It looked like heaven on Earth. She groaned when he mentioned KFC, "Oh not KFC Nathan," she hated that place she honestly did and he was his favorite eatery. And she couldn't understand why. "Anywhere but there." she begged with a smile playing at her lips. "We don't have to go to a posh place I don't think Ben and Devon would stand for it." In fact Paris and herself were the only ones that liked to go out to eat at posh places. The rest of the family would queue up to a drive thru everyday of the week if Egypt let them. "Well because you men will be in tuxedos." She explained. She wanted everyone to look nice for Willow's opening night, and plus she knew that muggle paparazzi would be there she wanted them to take good family photos. "Have you ever gone out looking silly with me dressing you?" she asked him with a raised eyebrow.

Ok good the dessert was settled and she would get a whole souffle to herself. That was always a good thing. And she might be able to nip some of Nathan's.

She smiled as Nathan settled down to just look at her. He was right, they were missing that intimacy they used to share. And she gathered it had more to do with the perception that they had changed or grown apart more than with what her mother had done. Not that Egypt was going to excuse her mother or even forgive her. She just sat and looked at him. Taking in the bright color or his emerald eyes, her favorite color in fact. The soft curve of his lips, the cheeky smile. There weren't any words that needed to be said by either of them. The simply contact between them expressed so much it almost made Egypt cry. She was falling in love with Nathan all over again. Like the first time they meet in the park. They were going to be ok. They were going to grow old together surrounded by their children, and their children and their children. More in love than the first day they met. "We miss you too Nathan. So much. The Greenwoods aren't the same without you," she smiled. Their family wasn't a family without Nathan. It just didn't work. "We can have a good knees up." she told him using his favorite word. All they needed was an excuse to have a good party. The children certainly would enjoy a party. Her finger traced the back of his hand as he spoke.

Her eyes misted up a bit at his words. "Yes we are." They were going to get through this and they were going to come out stronger on the other side. "I love you so much," she answered back as he squeezed her hand.

She nodded. "I speak to all of my sisters. We all grew up with her we know how she is." Truth be told the Riddle girls favored their father over their mother. "They all are supporting us," Even her oldest sister Asia who sometimes tended to agree with Afia about what Egypt was doing with her life.
Nathan grinned. He couldn't wait. The visions of a fun fight breaking out seemed almost inevitable.

No doubt Willow would be in need of some sugary sustenance after the performance and it would be a nice treat for all the family – Nathan and Egypt included. He couldn't help chuckling when Egypt groaned at his suggestion of dining in KFC – she really did despise the place with a vengeance. “Anywhere?” He asked, then thought for a moment. “What about pizza then? – even Paris wont grumble about that.” That little minx was so hard to please at times. For a girl who supposedly worshipped her father so much, they were opposites in many ways. Still, that made things more interesting.

TUXEDOS! That was more like it! Nathan was worried Egypt was going to make them all look stupid... but, as she pointed out, she'd never done that to him before. “As long as I don't have to wear a bow-tie, I'll wear anything you recommend, love.” Just as long as it wasn't a fancy dress burger bun. heh.

'The Greenwoods aren't the same without you' – those words made him smile softly. Boy, how he missed them all. They were such a close family it seemed incredible that Nathan would let the actions of one bitter woman try and break them apart. “We're made of sterner stuff than Afia.” He mumbled softly. “I'll start bringing my things over tomorrow. Killer will be pleased.” The dog whom Nathan had bought to keep him company when Egypt left had been living with his brother Liam while he lived in the Leaky Cauldron, but Liam's home was far too small for an excitable adolescent Rottweiler. A knees up? “Just the family?” Because, really, he didn't want to be with anyone else right now.

He still had his hand in hers, gazing into her soft brown eyes as she professed her love for him in return. It was funny how even when you loved someone with all your heart, you could forget the little details in their features. He took it all in – the little mole above her eye; the youthful, flawless skin; the soft pout of her lips. What a fool he had been letting her go.

The food eventually arrived and the moment was broken. Nathan smiled and thanked the waiter as he placed the plate of food in front of him. He picked up his cutlery and looked at Egypt. “What about your father?” He asked her gently. Ajohni was one of the wisest people Nathan had ever met. He would hate to think that Afia was standing in the way of Egypt's relationship with him.
