It took her a moment to process what was being said, though, thankfully, it was nothing that required much brain power. "Sure I'm ready." The corners of her mouth tipped upwards a tiny bit before relaxing again.

Whatever was going on, her only wish was that nobody would get hurt.

Frida watched as others started to file towards one of the doors. 'It shouldn't hurt to just wait another few moments to make sure the exit isn't too crowded.'
She stood up and remained next to her seat. Her pen and quill were back inside her small bag.

Malachi smiled briefly as she said she was okay and was privately relieved that he was not the only one who didn't know many people outside his own department.

He considered Frida for a moment. She was different to many of the other women he had met, she seemed to carefully weigh everything she said before speaking. It was refreshing.

He also realised that she too had drawn her wand. Feeling fairly sure they were in no immediate danger, he re-holstered his own wand. He hung back with Frida until the crowd thinned.

"Well, here we go then." He gestured for her to go in front, holding open the door.
