Antigone certainly didn't look well. "Pretty much the same Miss McArdle, when all things are considered." He placed and emphasis on the word all that he knew she wouldn't miss. Was it cruel? Perhaps it was but he was not in a charitable mood.

He could see the tension between Malachi and Antigone, as if the pair had some sort of past he was unaware of. Sighing Ronan asked, "Have you decided to find a more permanent residence as of late?"
"Thank you. I know that birds are not your favourite creatures and Lemuel can be temperamental if he feels unwelcome." Pandora needed challenges, and Malachi doubted that Cavanuagh provided that.

Malachi stifled a laugh. It couldn't be clearer that Cavanaugh wanted him out of the flat. "I'm afraid I've had more pressing concerns." He turned away, deciding to move seats.

Malachi had seen the woman enter the room and moved seats so that he was sat next to her. The kind twinkle returned to his eyes. "Hello, I don't believe we've met. Malachi Brown, International Magical Co-operation." He held out his hand for the woman to shake.
