"I'm not a cheeseball, am I?" He just needed to make sure.

He placed his wand back into his pocket, and then he looked back at Pippa. "It was too cold? I'm sorry," he apologized. "I didn't think it would be ice cold..." Oops? Ah, well. At least she said it was a lot better now. That was good! "I'm very glad to know you don't burn yourself often," he replied with a wink.

He sat down at the table before asking, "So, Pippa, what have you been up to lately? I haven't seen you since...Diagon Alley?" That was a LONG time ago.
Pippa nodded once, and then giggled -something she didn't do often, so Sam was in luck- before speaking. "You know what? You would have made an excellent slave or door opener, Sam. I'm disappointed in your lack of ability to help a woman in need. Very shameful, very very shameful." The blonde grinned up at him, and then laughed once more. "Cheeseballs, balls of cheese. In people form, I tend to use the term cheeseball when someone has reeeeally cheesy chat up lines, or overall can't hold a conversation without saying something cheesy. So no, you're not a cheeseball, Sam." She smiled softly, and ran her un-burnt hand through her hair. Much easier.

He was apologising? Oh, how sweet of him. "No, no. Don't worry about it, Sam. I should have expected it to be cold, I don't think it was as cold as I felt it to be, when your skins burning you know, things are alot different when you feel them on that part of the skin, as to how they would feel elsewhere." And no, that wasn't saying she was okay with being soaked to test that small theory.

"Trust me, I don't think anyone banks on being burnt by an apparantly harmless coffee. The drink of torture that is." She returned his wink, and shrugged. Though, her point wasn't going to stop her from drinking it. Nuh-uh.

After deciding to eat her pumpkin pasty finally, Pippa took a seat, and gave Sam a smile, while unwrapping her late lunch. "Me? Oh well, I've been working... working some more... looking after a four year old still... working. How about you?"
