Who actually, Pippa was certain, worked on this level. She'd have to check up on that one, really, wouldn't she. Without him knowing, or having to come in contact with her. NO.

Closing her eyes, as Sam took her hand, Pippa almost winced as she knew what was coming, just didn't know when. That was the downfall of nonverbal spells, you never knew when they were coming. The sudden wince out loud did come as soon as the cold water came into contact with the burn on her hand, and accompanying it came a little squeak of pain, or from the coldness of the water. Through gritted teeth, she said: "That spell, needs a temperature adjuster, it's like ice at times." Frown.

But it was working, and once the water stopped it's contact with her hand, she opened her eyes and smiled up at Sam. "Alot better, thanks. Trust me, I don't burn myself often."
Slave auditions? Sam had NOTHING to say about that, except... "For the record, I'm not auditioning," he commented. NO. WAY. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the term 'cheeseball'. This woman was something, that was for sure. He has never, in his entire life, heard someone classify people as 'cheeseballs' if they're not good. "Cheeseballs?" He questioned. "I'm not a cheeseball, am I?" He just needed to make sure.

He placed his wand back into his pocket, and then he looked back at Pippa. "It was too cold? I'm sorry," he apologized. "I didn't think it would be ice cold..." Oops? Ah, well. At least she said it was a lot better now. That was good! "I'm very glad to know you don't burn yourself often," he replied with a wink.

He sat down at the table before asking, "So, Pippa, what have you been up to lately? I haven't seen you since...Diagon Alley?" That was a LONG time ago.
