Emily, this was a very sweet and emotional post. I could feel every word you wrote. You've done a great job. Ah, but young love. When it jumps out like that it's such a surprise, as in Emily's case. But, had she seen all the signs George was giving to her, she wouldn't have been so surprised, and been able to face her situation better, and she could have handled her own feelings appropriately, instead of running from them as she has done now. I'm wondering how she thinks that her rejection of George will make him treat her just as a best friend, when he loves her so much. I hope the twins remember they said they would go with her to the Whomping Willow and on to the Shrinking Shack. Watching for your next post. And you can let me know if you've posted, if you want to.
