Evelyn was angry.
Destiny nodded her head when Evelyn had thanked her for being honest. Like she was going to lie about it.. Evelyn would have just blamed it on Sly if she found the plant missing, and there would be no way for him to defend himself against the wrath of Evelyn. Heck, Destiny couldn't defend herself against that wrath..and she had opposable thumbs! 'I figured you would just find out later on anyway.' How, Destiny had no idea, but she was sure Evelyn would have found out.
Destiny had thought that if she got that off her chest, she would feel somewhat better. But nope. She still felt bad, and probably worse seeing as how angry Evelyn was. Resting her head back in her hands, she sighed, 'Do you have any plans for the summer?'
Plans that did not involve plotting revenge on Destiny that is..
"I might not have cared later on too." she mumbled to herself, still having a strong grip on her goblet. Would Destiny be mad if she had to go change because of wet clothes? The girl did Kill! her flitterbloom. AND the other flowers she planted around it if she remembered correctly.
And when she just couldn't take it anymore and was about to lift up the cup 'accidentally' towards Destiny, she heard a question about her summer. Her summer. It was going...to be amazing.
"Actually, yes. I do, surprisingly. And it doesn't involve cleaning the muggle way either." Taking her hand off the water cup, all the anger somewhat disappearing now, and a small smile on her face, she turned back to look at the Slytherin, glancing around them for a moment before speaking again.
"I got this letter a few days ago. From my uncle."
Need she say more? Spending a whole summer with her uncle that disappears every year! She had always been wanting to know what he was up to and where he got these crazy quills from, and this was definitely the chance to do just that.

"Hey Marie." she said, glancing at Marie for a moment. Well, she seemed happier than before. Or it could just be that it was the end of the term feast and after this night, they wouldn't have to keep looking at the disappointment of house points. She, or someone in the green and silver house, needed to speak to the Slytherins about doing homework and such. Learning was good. It made you better than everyone else that's for sure.
And who didn't want to be better than everyone else?
