Not that she had any reason to believe it COULDN'T happen, and not that she had any reason to believe they couldn't get married and have a family and be together for the rest of their lives and be happy. But sometimes... things just happened, and Chloe didn't want to get her hopes up too high. She knew it might be a long time before Asher was ready to even talk about the subject of marriage.
